The “Backyard” Pitbull Breeder

Backyard pitbull breeders have really taken a toll on the appearance to what many people now call the the American Pitbull Terrier. Many people have their own preference when it comes to the specific type of pitbull that they prefer, but back yard breeder has flourished in America and has really changed the appearance of this breed.
As I stated, many people actually prefer certain characteristic of some pitbulls breed by back yard breeders. For example, the “Bully Pitbull”, this breed of pitbull has grown in popularity fast, and the demand for Bully style pitbulls are at all time highs. Usually very expensive, they have a more stocky appearance than the regular pitbull. I am simply stating that if you have a preference for a type of pitbull, do your research, and ask for papers ( the Pedigree).
I would like to also include this; I honestly don’t feel that all backyard breeders are bad ones, I just want to inform you that there is a greater chance that you will find backyard breeders with dogs of lower quality.

I partially disagree with some things stated in the video. Just because a person breeds American Bullies doesnt necessarily mean that they dont provide”contracts on their dogs. I personally know some that do and have met others that are the same. Also, their is a large population of so called “backyard breeders” that do perform medical and historical research on the particular dogs they have and sell. And i do know for a fact that unlike the video stated, they do show their dogs at shows. In fact, there is a show locally this saturday put on by the ABKC(american bully kennel club).
